Fun iPhone app: Tiffany & Co.'s engagement ring finder

Because sometimes a subway ride isn't long enough to play a game or start reading a lengthy book, T&Co has created a fun app for those of us who dream of bling. (Yes, I am already married, but my hubby knows an 'upgraded' engagement ring is required in the next 5 years-- just because we got married when we were young and poor doesn't mean we have to live with that forever, right??)

The app offers information on all the various facets going into choosing the perfect Tiffany diamond engagement ring, and an on-the-screen Ring Sizer, which is pretty cool. You can put your ring directly on the screen and align it with the correct circle in the guide.

Rings are shown true-to-size and each style may be viewed with diamonds of six different carat sizes (because sometimes, it IS too big. I know, blasphemy!). Users can zoom in, pair with a wedding band, and save or share via e-mail, Facebook, or Twitter.

T&Co will also have prices, to help allay the sticker shock, and, in the true spirit of optimism, users can make an appointment for a diamond consultation via phone or e-mail!
