A charity event held by Fashionable Philanthropy benefiting Lighthouse International, POSH is a massive designer clothing sale (new and 'vintage', i.e. used). I'm not really sure what to expect, but apparently this has been going on for 40 years, so I assume it's got to be pretty good (like the sale in the Hamptons every summer). You can pay for admission at the door.
It's a four-day event (general admission $10/day or $30/4-day), and much like the recent HUSH sale, you can buy tickets for the Private Preview ($200-250). Mens, womens, and childrens clothing and accessories will be available from labels like: Burberry, Carolina Herrera, Christian Dior, Christian Lacroix, Coach, Dolce & Gabbana, Diane von Furstenberg, Escada, Giorgio Armani, Giuseppe Zannoti, Jimmy Choo, Lilly Pulitzer, Kate Spade, Kay Unger, Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs, Manolo Blahnik, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Turnbull & Asser, Valentino, Narcisco Rodriguez, Roberto Cavalli, and Tory Burch, among others.
Note: Students w/ valid IDs get 50% off ticket prices. No large bags/backpacks. No strollers. Junior and plus sizes available. Entrance on 59th St.
