Update: Commenter Gregori may be right (perhaps he works for L'Occitane?) but the website does say that a printout of the email qualifies, and the link I provided was directly off the email I received. I'm not trying to get into a streetfight here, but either L'Occitane is lying or it's not. Click here to forward yourself a copy of the actual email.L'Occitane will be having their annual warehouse sale in Lyndhurst, NJ this coming weekend. The webpage says they are having a free bus from midtown to NJ on VIP day, but for the life of me I can't find the official announcement on their Facebook or Twitter pages for you to print out as 'proof' of being a VIP. I guess you'll need to have received a postcard in the mail.
However, for everyone else who can find their own transportation, the sale is public from Friday - Saturday.
What: L'Occitane warehouse sale
When: VIP: Thursday, Oct 22, noon-9PM; Public: Friday, Oct 23 - Saturday, Oct 24; F 10AM-9PM, S 9AM-5PM

VIP Day is for those who received a Postcard in the USPS mail or received invitation via email. Names will be checked... Merely printing the web-posted email and showing at the door is not a proof of VIP registration. . .
ReplyDeletePlease spare us and yourselves the embarassment of showing up with the web-posted email invitation.
Gregori I don't think there is any need to be rude. The owner of this blog is trying to help us all out, and it is a mistake that L'Occitane was less than clear in their instructions. With this attitude, no one will want to frequent your company's sales or stores.
ReplyDeleteFashion Prosp - thanks for all the great tips! Keep 'em comin!
It's always the rudest people who write to blogs. I think guys like Greg keep it pent up inside and then become macho at the keyboard.
ReplyDeleteAww, you guys are so sweet :)
ReplyDeleteYeah Greggy, why so snobby. You're getting on a BUS to go to a WAREHOUSE sale.
ReplyDeleteIn this econmy you shouldn't turn anyone away. Wow, what a snob you are!!
ReplyDeleteDude! You work in retail for heaven sake. No reason to be so snotty. Now if you were a scientist that worked in quantum physics or something, I could understand your eliteness. Until then, you are just another minimum wage person that is no different from the guy that slings burgers at Burger King. The only difference is that you sell soap. Get off your soapbox!
